Embodied Therapy.

I've never heard of 'embodied therapy' - HELP?!

I understand embodied therapy as therapy that understands as includes the body. My training as a yoga teacher and years of experience in becoming more at home in my own body has shown me the benefit of bringing how you might experience stress in your body, into the therapy room.

How we relate to our Self and our Body is important to start the journey of processing and moving towards growth

It is up to you as the client, if you want to explore this relationship. I will not direct you in this way, however I do believe that the tools of yoga asana (physical postures), meditation and breath-work can bring a wholeness of being that goes beyond words.

This approach uses bodily awareness to understand how you are processing trauma, anxiety and stress and can provide ways of being with yourself in your most tender moments.
