Machair Therapeutics
Individual Psychotherapy.
What do I offer?
Individual therapy rooted in the Person Centred approach which sees the process of therapy as one where you (the client) have the ability to work through and process your life experiences towards growth. This isn't always possible in the world we live in; working with a therapist can be a non judgemental, supportive space to talk through what is keeping you stuck.
How do sessions work?
Sessions with me are usually every week or every 2 weeks, depending on both of our availability. We can stick to the same time every week or be flexible on when each session is. We can either meet in-person where I work in the West End of Glasgow or use video conferencing. This is arranged via email to ruth@machairtherapeutics.com or by using the form to get in touch!
What can you expect when working with me?
Person Centred Therapy is non-directive which means that I am not the one who directs your therapy. That's you! You are the expert of your own life. I believe that we all have the ability to heal from what we have been through in our lives. I am not here to make assumptions about your life - what we talk about is your choice.
