Machair Therapeutics
Individual Psychotherapy.
What do I offer?
I offer one-to-one psychotherapy in a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels important to you. Together, we'll make sense of the experiences, relationships and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, helping you build greater confidence, self-understanding and a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
My approach is rooted in Person Centred Therapy, which means I believe you are the expert in your own life. Rather than offering advice or telling you what to do, I work alongside you with curiosity, compassion and respect, supporting you to find a way forward that feels meaningful and authentic.
How do sessions work?
Sessions are usually held weekly or fortnightly, depending on what feels right for you and what we agree together. Appointments last 50 minutes and are available both in person from my therapy space in Glasgow's West End and online via secure video call.
If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, you're welcome to get in touch. I'm happy to answer any questions before arranging an initial session.
Is therapy right for me?
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You might simply feel that something isn't quite right, that you're carrying more than you can manage alone or that you're ready to understand yourself more deeply. Therapy offers a dedicated space to pause, reflect and explore whatever is important to you, without judgement or expectation.
